Sleepless in Albuquerque 4am stay far away!!

Checked in staff was friendly we were given a room on the first floor. When we laid down to sleep, all night all you can hear is a loud banging sound like a jack hammer couldn’t identify where it came from except maybe someone moving furniture up stairs but every 20-30 minutes it would happen.. impossible to sleep. I rarely leave comments like this or reviews but it’s 4am and haven’t slept a wink… the only solution is do whatever I have to even turn my tv up full blast to sleep.. no other compensation or option was offered… NEVER AGAIN.. if you want to sleep DONT STAY HERE!!

Yuck

Very shabby and not at all clean. Sticky, dirty floors and elevators in common areas with pieces of snack food left on the ground for a long time. Someone else’s hair was in the tub when we got the room. Bottom half of the shower curtain was covered in mildew. Absolutely no pride of ownership in the place.

Good stay for price and location

Stay was good for the price. It was a good location right off I-25 and affordable. It just feels a little old and I didn't feel that clean either. Some upgrading would be good. Still has a tub and shower curtain, which just didn't feel as clean as when you step into newer showers with glass doors. Treadmill was broken, which was a little disappointing. Staff was very nice but sometimes they are back in the office and don't know that you're standing there. When I went to check out I had to make some fake noise to get staff attention.

Room near elevator, many guest came in late which were very noisy.In general this hotel is noisy, little insulation between walls and floors. Bathroom floor was not clean. Makeshift room with no closet. Location of hotel is good, easy access to interstate.

Earthquake room

Dont get the room right behind the elevator. When the elevator gets to the 3rd floor the 2nd floor shakes and rattles all times of the night. The front receptionist at nights judges by looks. And the only thing for the inconvenience of hearing what almost sounded like an earthquake was. ohh thats unfortunate.

Next time I’ll stay somewhere else

Staff friendly when checking in and out. Room could use some updating. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, but showers water pressure was good. The view was nice. The elevator is slow and makes a loud banging noise when going down. The breakfast was not that great. Potatoes were undercooked, omelets were not very good, and pancakes were super tiny. Yogurt was good. $150 for a room here is way too much.

Not the best any more

Room was fairly clean. Toilet was clogged in the room, with a wet plunger wrapped in a wet bag sitting next to it. So, I tried to unclog it myself, despite this being an obvious on-going problem. It didn't unclog. So, I called down and asked for another room (for the aforementioned reason). She put us in another room. The toilet was slow-running in that one, but we kept it anyway. HIE is not what it used to be.
