Our main reason coming to California was for a concert in Oakland but we were being tourist in San Francisco for 2 days prior to Fridays stay in Oakland. Compared to San Francisco, Oakland gets an A+ for friendliness, cleanliness and space. The hotel staff was super friendly and genuine, it was so nice to be treated with kindness and genuine curiosity. If we ever visit California we are staying in Oakland at this hotel!
