I have never stayed in a LaQuinta Suite. We were on the top floor with cathedral ceilings. It was large with nice windows. The furniture was old and soiled, but clean. I enjoyed having the space to spread out.

Room seemed good but the one thing that threw me off about it was the safety lock was damaged. I ask if i could have a different room, they moved me but same thing the safety lock was damaged, so asked again if I could be moved to another room. The only other room they had available at that time had the same issue. Didn't End up staying there, but the staff was nice and helpful.

THIS IS NOT A NON-SMOKING HOTEL. They say that they are, but there is no non-smoking signage anywhere and all the rooms have obviously been smoked in. The first room we were given reeked. Asked to be moved; the second room we were given reeked. Their solution was to offer me a spray they keep on hand for the odor - this is obviously a persistent problem. I woke up at 4 am with a migraine. Took a shower; the towels reeked. In the morning I asked for a refund and actually heard the front desk clerk on the desk with her manager saying, “the guest asked for a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room.” THEY LIE WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE A NON-SMOKING HOTEL! They would only give me 50% back but regardless we fled and found a different hotel. Do not stay here. It is horrible.
