Room access cards were disabled right after we used it, I had to go to office reactive it, front desk attendant said his prior shift personnel did something wrong.

Great location. However noisy & problematic guests all around us. Someone knocking on doors and screaming all night the first night. A dog whining alone in the room next door, doors slamming at all hours. The room is old and very worn out, bathroom needs full remodel. Mini fridge smelled like something died in it, unusable.

I think it goes without saying that you know what you are getting when you go with a motel 6, but there are some cleanliness issues that need to be addressed. Odd stains on just about every wall, ceiling, and floor. Just cleaning those would make a big difference. Also had some woman screaming/vomiting/hitting things from 1am-430am one night. Police and Paramedics eventually showed up. Not much motel 6 can do about that, but it gives you a sense of the area. Oddly enough, it is in a pretty good walking location to the Railyard district, La Choza restaurant, and a 5 min drive to the main plaza and shops. If you are looking for a deal and don’t mind some issues with the room/area, it’s a good choice. If you do mind those issues then maybe upgrade to a nicer hotel.

This Motel6 is a usually higher-priced than the one on S side of town, but the rooms are very clean. This property and checkin staff is always preferred.

Pros: clean, 15-20 minute walk from plaza, food hall and restaurants across the street, hacienda hotel next door with nice happy hour. Cons: so loud, zero sound installation, adjoining doors in the room where I could hear the tv and everything the person was doing next door. You also hear all the street noise. Outside door faces a parking lot and the street. Bring ear plugs. Room is no frills. Some homeless around but area seemed safe enough as solo female.

Bathroom blues

It's a simple room but clean. I was troubled by the terrible caulking job in the tub and shower. It looks like a 7 year old did it. The shower head squirts some water sideways so it leaks down the wall if the shower curtain isn't securely pressed to the wall by the shower head

Room 120 had double beds (told they were twins) and they were very stiff, felt more like hard futon mattresses. The pillows were very hard as well. Otherwise, very clean room all the way around and towels were soft and nice; everything good.
