Worth it -

Bed was clean and comfortable. Room is adequate size. It's on the older side, but maintained. Floor needed sweeping. Breakfast was good - coffee and other drinks, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy 😋

What used to be

I used to stay here a lot, since the transition of staff and companies run the business I can see the decline. It’s almost a 3 star hotel when it used to be 5. It makes me sad, even the breakfast was a disappointment.

We had a terrible experience at The Sage. Our first room was dirty and hadn’t been made at all. When we told the front desk, they moved us to another room—but it was even worse. It reeked of cigarette smoke, and the bed sheets were damp and smelled like a wet dog. At that point, we decided not to stay the night. We left and booked a room at another hotel. Definitely would not recommend staying here.

Our room floors had not been cleaned. The bathroom tub had mode all around the tub. The sinks were old. The towels were dingy immediately after getting used. The sheets were dingy and WELL used. The front window had a broken lock so we felt unsafe and we knew our belongings were not safe when we left. The lamp had no bulb so we couldn’t turn it on.

very friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable location worked very well for us price was a little high and the resort fee was only $15 a night, but what for? parking was free and I would stay there again

Easy access, Reasonable price as Santa Fe can be quite pricy. Pet friendly, close to downtown Santa Fe, very clean, bed was comfortable, A few items could use an upgrade in our room, like a bathroom door that had been repaired but still worked fine, the door strip to the bathroom was slightly loose. Nothing major. Exterior grounds were maintained well and attractive. Only issue was being on a ground floor room, we could hear the person above us pacing/walking rather loudly at 3am, which went on for a couple of hours. However this was our second stay there and would stay again.

Hotel fine restaurant TERRIBLE

Restaurant has a staff that either cant hear...or are plain rude. Every order was wrong after she assured us she rememvers EVERYTHING as long as she repeats it. EVERY one of our orders were wrong. Then we got attitude about it. Never going back based 100% around the terrible experience in The Social restaurant. And the food was terrible....frozen from Cysco most likely. Eat somewhere else. And a bottle.of water in lobby is $8.00 Save yourself the disappointment.

Overall good place to stay. Breakfast is basic eggs, biscuits, potatoes and pancakes buffet. A remodeling project was going on during our stay and that was inconvenient in the parking lot. The room was quiet, average bed but adequate. We did have an issue with housekeeping not coming as promised and a maintenance issue with the hair dryer on the wall, the hairdryer broke and they were not able to replace and said they did not have any more on property? The location of hotel is super central and convenient. The cost and location are the reason I picked this hotel and both are reasons I would go back.
