Food was way too expensive. $520 mex each ($40 Canadian)for buffet was a crazy price for one example. We could not eat at any of restaurants there without spending nearly a thousand pecos or more for the two of us. We hardly ate there after experiencing how pricey can walk 5 min and spend half the price. The bed was really hard. Room was clean and staff was friendly.

The hotel itself is beautiful, staff really friendly and helpful. The beach is a heaven, really recommend. The food is the only thing we didn’t love. Apart from that everything about it.

There was no hot water. The patio furniture was rusty and falling apart. Room felt grungy in general. Towels were frayed. Bed was hard. The staff was nice. The beach was wonderful.

The Setting is beautiful, and the staff are friendly. The Ocean and swimming pools are stunning. We found the food at the restaurant quite bad. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine and an ice bucket in the room. The hot tub was broken.

We had such a great stay at Camino Real. The staff is amazing, the pool and beach area are fantastic. The beach is very nice for swimming and never crowded. We loved our room with our own private pool. Everything about this place was great…we will definitely be back!

A nice hotel with basically its own beach. We stayed in a beachfront room and we loved the view. Our kids loved the pool and I loved that it wasn't super busy, and you could always find a lounge chair. Our room was clean and comfortable. The property has real potential but the service could be improved. Only some of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our biggest issue was with towels (and other we talked to said the same). They always seemed to be out, whether it be room towels or pool towels. On our first day we had to wait four hours for a pool towel, and I had to ask multiple times for enough room towels. Also, you get two capsules for coffee in your room and if you want more you have to get room service, or wait until the cafe opens at 9 and bring it back to your room (it should open at 7). With a bit more focus on service this place could be great. All that being said, I would stay here again.

Cold water in the showers. No beach towels available. No open chairs by the pool. Even early in the morning. Staff did not take orders from the beach or pool areas. Bar and meal service was extremely slow. Refrigerator was leaking because it had been unplugged and freezer ice melted. No phone in the room to order room service. The only good amenity was the gym.
