This is an older property in excellent repair. It has features like windows that open and independent control of hot and cold water. You can actually set the water temperature and flow to what you want! The room was spotless and spacious, with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is a table and chairs. Staff was helpful, polite and accommodating. Breakfast is the typical buffet with eggo style waffles and pastries. A collection of fresh fruit completes the offering. Gluten free is limited to fruit.

We liked being downtown and right across from the locks. The room and bathroom were clean, bed was really comfortable. I think the owner was short staffed, as we didn't get room service until our third day. We had to ask for some towels and TP, but that's a minor complaint. We will stay there again! Btw...Lock View restaurant is the only place in town serving fresh whitefish, and it is scrumptious!

Good location, rates, beds were nice. Furnace stunk like someone peed in it when it turned on late at night. Motorcycle group up drinking and reving engines until 2:30 am. Walls thin and didn’t buffer much noise. Not all property’s issue, but not a place I would stay with my kids again.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! If you are visiting the Sault to see the Locks, as we were, then this is the hotel for you. You enter right across the street! We stayed in a King Cabin which we were given as an upgrade from our Queen by the manager. Everything was wonderful!

Given great suggestions for places to view during our stay. We were given an upgrade tp our room which we did not expect. We used the hotel as a launchpoint to other locations inside of 60 miles.The townn was,quiet and we gad the Soo locks right across the street. The room was very neat, clean and crisp, with a nice sitting area viewing a bed of tulips and plants w/ which we took advantage of for our morning coffee and danish. Id go back but i would request the more spacious room or cottage room as i think it is called.... thumbs up!
