We loved this place. Quiet, convenient and quaint. The staff were terrific. Parking was available off the street. We also ate at the restaurant, and it was fantastic. No breakfast, but there is a refrigerator in the room, and we brought food with us.
The staff are amazing, in particular ‘Grumpy’. He could not have been anymore helpful. Great history on the building and local area. Would highly recommend staying here.
We stayed in one of the guest houses, room 306. As soon as we stepped into the house the musty smell hits you, the room also had the same musty smell. The room can use some TLC, a few simple fixes and repairs, also can use something to freshen the air. Overall it was pretty clean very quiet and the bed was pretty comfortable.

Old building and room was pretty tired. Our room didnt have a window. Location was great. Staff were very nice, restaurant was good.
Hotel was adorable. We couldn’t get the jacuzzi to work and the bed was uncomfortable so that’s the only reason for the loss of one star. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely try another room next time we visit!

Stayed in the guesthouse, which is a townhouse for sale nearby. The property feel like and afterthought and you can tell the upkeep is not a priority.
The Inn was very nice. Parking is tight but they make it work. Excellent restaurant downstairs. The staff was very accommodating. Short walk to River street.
Would definitely go back.
Absolutely loved it! Very friendly, helpful staff. We made dinner reservations which I highly recommend. Food was amazing along with our server Raymond. We will be back.
What a beautiful, historic property! That being said, the word “historic” is code for “no elevator”. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to all the tourist spots, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a nicer stay, and we hope to be back soon!
We stayed in 302 and the original mural on the ceiling was beautiful! The period furniture and decor made it feel as if you stepped back inn time while providing all the modern comforts.
Staff was lovely and went out of their way. Our flight arrived late but they waited at the Inn to check us in. Though we didn’t stay in the main house like planned we stayed across the street and it was very private. Very walkable area.
