The hotel was under construction and that was fine. The construction crew was actually probably the friendliest crew I’ve ever met.. The check-in process was smooth. The lady who checked me in was very friendly.. I got to my room and it was quite chilly. Turned on the heat let it run for a while. Noticed it wasn’t really warming up my room. Turned it up to 80. let it run and still didn’t really warm up my room. Later when it was time to go to sleep around 10 PM I noticed the windows rattling because it was breezy outside.. there was cold air coming from somewhere outside. It was also making a noise that was very evident that wind was coming in from outside. Possibly from the windows upstairs that were not completely framed in. The main door was also whistling because it was not sealed, and the wind was making the door whistle.I got to listen to this all night. My room in the room next to me had a connecting door that was not solid to the ground so there was a gap which allowed me to listen to my neighbors conversations and they were up until 4 AM in and out of their room, slamming their door. I looked for a phone to call the office to make a complaint. There wasn’t one. The next morning I went to the office to make my complaint. They offered no help. The lady told me that she was also cold in her own home last night. And confirmed that there is no room phone. They expect people to go outside down to the office to make a complaint . I chose not to stay my second night.
