My family of four (2 adults, 2 middle school) enjoyed our stay at Hilton Vacation Club Sedona Summit. Check in was easy (although the additional resort fee caught me off guard because I thought I read in the fine print that it was already included.)
Rooms are really set up for couples. Families with one or two younger children who can use sofa bed are ok. We have older children, boy and girl, so my wife and daughter slept on regular bed, my son and I slept on sofa-bed. Tolerable, but I can't say I slept well.
Pros: comfortable room, kitchen, washer/dryer, large shower. Attentive staff--when we asked for dishwasher detergent and extra pillows, they delivered.
Cons: water leaking in fridge, dishwasher very worn, some drawer handles in kitchen and bathroom were sticky (perhaps build-up of cleaner?), sofa-bed is ok for kids, not so good for adults.
All things considered, we would stay again.
