We had a great stay!! Close to exactly our purpose for visiting the Superior shore line and a couple of cozy places to hang out for breakfast and dinner/cocktails in the evening. Clean and comfotable with a freindly staff!!!

Be prepared to drag your suitcase up the stairs if you get a second-floor room. Tough on an old woman.

Our room was great with a in-room jacuzzi tub. No major frills & a little dated in decor, but our room was clean & smelled wonderful, like lavender - the whole hotel was very clean, continental breakfast was amazing and the on-site hot tub was giant, very hot and relaxing after a day of hiking in the snow. We would recommend and definitely stay again!

The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Great location close to the snowmobile trail, gas and food. Owners were quick to respond and very helpful.

Overall a great stay! We stayed during the record blizzard a week ago. We were due to check out on Monday and after packing up our stuff and trying to head out for a snowmobile ride it was clear we weren’t going anywhere! A quick call to the front desk and I was met with nothing but friendly helpfulness!!! All guests were already assumed to be staying and not checking out. The answer to my second question came as a pleasant surprise, “is by chance the restaurant open?” It was!!!! We trekked our way across the snow filled parking lot to get some lunch. Another surprise! “Come on in, what would you like to drink? We’ve got food for everyone. We are all in the same boat, might as well make the best of it.” Not only were we able to stay in our room, they were providing us with food and non-alcoholic drinks!!! And let me tell you, this wasn’t just let’s see what we can find food, it was a delicious spread!!!! Dinner was another, all different than lunch, delicious spread!!! Breakfast the next morning was more than the normal provided breakfast. We were able to dig out on Tuesday with the help of plow trucks and a group digging effort from several hotel guests working together. Are there some things about the rooms that are a bit dated? Yes. Was the wall heating/cooling unit a bit loud? yes. Was my room clean? YES! Was the bed comfortable? YES! The best part of our stay though was the exceptionally friendly, caring, helpful staff! We will stay again 😊
