Thai influenced styling throughout the hotel. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the hotel was super clean and well-appointed. Looked newly refurbished. Had a massage at the spa and it was great. It’s on a main road but with the windows closed it’s very quiet. A short walk to Yuyuan Gardens and mall area and in to other direction down Huaihai Rd there is a high-end shopping area. Highly recommend!

The good: We had a large suite and the room was spacious and had multiple windows which was super nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a trellis rather than a door but the toilet/shower/bath were all separate so that worked. Staff helpful and nice, room came with free water every day and a coke/sprite in the room too. Breakfast caters for a lot of different people, it was chaotic and busy, but fine, coffee was decent. Also got some free beer vouchers which was a very nice touch, enjoyed those on the 4th floor rooftop. Negatives: The noise from the building works, day and night there was a lot of building works going on nearby the hotel and i was woken up often due to this. The room had a smell of drains which just didn't seem to go, if the door to the bathroom was more solid it might not have been an issue, but the smell was bad and we couldn't get away from it, also the plug needed replacing in the bath as it leaked more than it filled

Not many family room option in the area and this is a gem. It may not look grand from outside, but practical value is exceptional. Room is very clean, comfy and classic. Location is perfect to subway, YuYuan, Bund.

Nice views, great dinning facilities, Free laundry, Really close to the subway. You can get anywhere ( the airport, The Bund, Disney ) fast!. The bed was medium soft, just right, plenty of pillows, refrigerator, hair dryer, shampoo and soaps, large TV, 49 channels of state run programming ( Think PBS only 40 stations ) I'd return in a heartbeat.

Had a lovely stay here. Located a short stay away from a metro station. Rooms and communal areas are very clean. Bonus for having free self service laundry facilities. Only minus is that the rooms do not have air conditioning - there is heat but no cold air.

This hotel had a downside on everything. For example, the room was big and pretty, but unkept and noisy. The restaurant has a great view, but with terrible service. I could go on, but at the end of the day, simply choose elsewhere to stay.

Super Location near major shopping areas

The hotel has a construction site right opposite due to which it is not convenient to stay in the room much. The boutique features are visible and reception area is very well designed. Rooms are however bit tiny.
