Generally a bit faded around the edges. Beds were uncomfortable, bathroom tile coming off, silicone gungy, toilet didn't flush easily, no soap, tissues or face cloth.

Road to hotel is terrible more pot holes than anything and this is not reflective on the property the car park was well lit and staff great room dated and this was for an upgrade but it served its purpose

All clean, i think Gitana had done good job and room well prepared. Reported one minor thing that the shower gel pump not working. Not the end of the world!!! Good breakfast though the queue for the coffee machine/hot water was slow.

Lovely hotel, will definitely stay there again

Really lovely hotel, brilliant staff. Nicky who was front of house was excellent and really friendly. Made time to speak to me and my family, including the kids. Only downside was they didn't have robes for the spa in the family room we were in. But did have towels, so we made do with those

The service was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our initial room had a very strange strong unpleasant smell so we asked to be moved. They moved us happily into another room but unfortunately that smelt of stale smoke but it was preferable to the first room. The facilities were good. We used the gym, pool and sauna several times during our stay. They are very small so if it’s busy it might be an issue. Food and drink was good.

Lovely location, handy for this part of Sheffield. Hotel is quite used by now - ready for a spruce up, from head to toe. Nice, helpful staff. Parking included in room rate is an advantage.

Good value. Warm welcome.

So pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Will return. Staff doing an excellent job. Bar staff were brilliant. Sure it’s a tiny bit dated compared to some newer gleaming places. But I’ll take the value and warm welcome any day. Just a better heads up about the alarm test next time please. I’m sure it was in an email or something but I was too tired when arriving to take notice :-).
