The hotel is just OK. The rooms are a bit outdated. The safe in our room didnt work and the door to our bathroom wouldn't close properly. The are around the hotel also isnt the nicest, although its conveniently next to the station. The breakfast is way overpriced. And the gym doesnt have all the machines that are shown in the pictures.

Unusually warm days in Oslo, the hotel kindly provided a fan, which helped a bit. The minibar policy is ludicrous, if you move anything you're billed. Annoying light bleed from curtains. Hotel staff very friendly. Central station a short walk away and the location is strategic. The room was clean and comfortable.

+ Convenient location next to main train station + very nice breakfast with lots of options + very clean and staff excellent - area around hotel is quite dirty and unpleasant - building site opposite our room with noise+++ from 7am to 7pm - ridiculous and complicated lift system makes it difficult and annoying to get anywhere within the hotel. - a guy entered my hotel room without even knocking coming to ‘check the expiry dates on the minibar items’ FYI the bedroom doors don’t lock automatically - you have to use your keycard to lock them.

Next to Oslo central station (bus and trains). Many restaurants options. Except there was construction happening within the hotel which were communicated prior to the stay. We were given an upgrade to compensate, the room view is facing the fjords. The room airconditioner wasn’t that strong. Staffs are very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was also good.

A lot of renovations in the area, very noisy also renovations in the hotel they’ll let you know less than 24hrs prior your check-in. The only good thing its very close to the train station and center.

Unpleasant reception staff, no smiles, no welcome, no assistance - especially by trainee front staff (no name tags). Extremely noisy due to construction inside and outside hotel beyond the hours that were stated. Insufficient prior notice given by hotel regarding noise to make any refundable changes for a family booking during the busiest travel season. Area outside hotel is inaccessible to vehicles due to construction equipment and requires guests to walk past homeless people and/or drug users.

Long weekend stay

Hotel location was great - walking distance from central station. Check in always had a queue but we got upgraded from junior suite to suite. Bit annoyed to be told after we booked that there was work going on at hotel but we never noticed it. There is a building next door being demolished but again it was a minor distraction. Breakfast was fine as was rooftop cafe - overall very satisfied for 4 night stay
