Wonderful staff, tons of stores and restaurants that are walkable. Less than a 2 minute walk to the beach. Our room needed some minor maintenance but not a deal breaker. The area is very busy but we never found ourselves waiting an extended time for any service, or find a single rude person. Everyone was so nice! you will come across homeless people but we never felt unsafe.

Hyatt Regency Beach and spa

The resort was surreal with how beautiful it was. The spa was a bit on the pricey side but the couples massage and the view was amazing. All of the staff did excellent job.

This is actually a three star hotel at best. The building is old and the tower we stayed in needs a complete renovation. Lot of noise from pool and hot-tub area. Will not be returning to this hotel.

Overall our stay at this property was great. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful in all areas. Specifically James at the check in counter was such a blessing after a crazy 24hr delay with our flight and made the rest of my husbands birthday trip phenomenal. We really enjoyed being right across the street from the beach and within a 10 minute walk from many shopping and dining options. The only things that we disliked were dining options within the hotel were limited, parking was incredibly stressful due to how narrow the parking garage turns were, we avoided quite a bit of accidents within the garage so if you can afford it I would suggest the valet option. We were also disappointed with the bed and comforter, out of all hyatts we've stayed at this bed was probably the least comfortable but it was not terrible just not what we're used to from Hyatt resorts.

You should note that there is construction across the street. I asked for a city view, and I got a construction view with a peekaboo view of the city. The noise with unbearable it’s a great location. And the bathroom had a really bad smell. It’s a beautiful hotel but the construction is a reason why they take a star away.

I love everything about the Hyatt Regency except the parking garage. It’s 60 a day to self park and 70 for valet parking. The parking garage is super tight driving paths and parking spaces. It’s in a nice area near many shops. I also enjoyed all amenties they offered
