FAB Hotel - great Customer Service!

We had a fantastic stay at the Waterfront Hotel. It is very central in Sliema and is a short distance to the ferry which gives access to Valletta in 5 minutes. I could not fault my stay at this hotel. We had a seafront room and the views were spectacular. The staff are so attentive and could not do enough for you. A special thanks to Anu who was such a nice girl and always took time to speak with a lot of the guests. The food was delicious with a good selection and even though it was a buffet breakfast if you ever asked the staff for anything they would go and get it for you. A lot of hotels would have directed you to get it yourself. That is good customer service. A lot of nice touches, like Barista making a range of coffees, Fresh orange machine and small trays to carry things (sounds like a small thing but when you are trying to carry teapots, plates and glasses it made it so much easier and you didn't have to keep going back to pick up things! This holiday was a 60th Birthday treat for me and I was met with balloons and a beautiful cake when I checked into my room, such a lovely touch. I will definitely be back and would have no hesitation recommending them. I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and because I am now a Gold member I received 25% of Food & Beverages on one occasion. All in all from booking to staying everything was seamless.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at The Waterfront hotel is Sliema. Amazing view from the room of the harbour, clean room and comfortable bed. The perfect place to stay when your in Malta!

This hotel is very well located for a visit to Valletta without being set in the middle of throngs of tourists. The ferry to Valletta is an easy walk from the building and the big advantage is, of course, the proximity to the waterfront. The hotel itself is very serviceable and completely acceptable except that it lacks character. It has a cool, corporate feel. Those who desire more traditional surroundings should go elsewhere. The waterfront restaurants are convenient and the pool is another waterside benefit. All in all, a pretty strong choice.

Marika and all of the front desk staff were just what one wants. Quick, helpful, and informative. We arrived with literally no plan for 5 days. Between Alexandra and the desk we had a full visit. Room was very spacious and clean. Housekeeping, spot on and responsive to requests. Roof top bar delivered views, good service and food options. The lobby restaurant made for good first night. The pool facility across the street which has several restaurants was a plus. The location has endless eats/drinks and is very convenient to the other in demand neighborhoods. The experience was a winner for us.

The hotel breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of food to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In the evenings, there’s live music in the lobby. There are also many restaurants nearby, and it’s just a short, easy walk to the Sliema Ferry.

The Waterfront Hotel is well located to explore Malta, with good bus and ferry routes nearby. The hotel was clean and tidy and amenities were as described. The ability to use the AquaLuna outdoor pool just across the road was very good. Road noise was sadly evident from our water front facing room. Staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good with a vast choice available daily. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Completely Faultless

Absolutely incredible, start to finish. Got to hotel 2 hours early. Our room was ready and staff kindly let us check in, after a welcome drink! Everything spotless. Breakfast was tasty with nice selection. Access to pool which was equally clean and a nice place to spend a day or two relaxing. Allowed to use hotel facilities (including pool) after check out whilst waiting to return home. The friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel I’ve stayed at before. We will be returning next year!

Fabulous hotel, great pool area, breakfast exceptional and staff wonderful. Area around hotel is a little grubby, lots of building work happening although not directly next to hotel. We could see 8 cranes from our balcony! Nevertheless we loved the hotel and would come back Easy walk to everywhere and great transport options. It’s in a really good position to get you everywhere you want to go. The whole is Sliema is under lots of new construction, it will be great when it’s finished !

Lovely hotel

Very lovely stay, good hotel in a convenient location for exploring Malta. Very kind and helpful staff, good housekeeping. Lovely robes and eco friendliness of the hotel. Great view from the partial sea view rooms on the 9th floor. Only thing that let the hotel down was the hairdryer in the room was filthy and the indoor pool was very busy all day! Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta
