I had communicated directly with the hotel to upgrade and was quoted a price which I accepted and was told should be paid on check in. On arrival there was no upgrade I showed my emails to the receptionist Jose and was dismissed and found him rude. However I spoke to another receptionist the following day Jessica who explained things and arranged for us to be upgraded ASAP. Thank you Jessica. The pool is lovely all though the beds facing the sun have towels on early. Storage for clothes is an issue at this hotel but once upgraded the facilities and service we received compensated. We had our morning paper delivered each morning mini fridge stocked with soft drinks jacuzzi on our terrace fruit delivered at 7pm although I would have preferred to be asked what I want rather than the same thing every night. Pillow choice was also good. Overall a really relaxing holiday this is a great location to access the harbour of Cala bona as well as walking to calla Millor.

Good spacious would go again

Great for bed and breakfast. Good spacious rooms and the pool was great. Service average but ok however the place needs to be cleaned more throughout the day and was a bit grubby looking at times. All round though it was good value and I’d stay there again.

Good location close to the beach. Free public parking lot cross the street. Clean and nice air conditioned rooms. Good and ample selection of fresh food everyday. Staff friendly and helpful. Public transportation right in the corner or taxi station one block down the street. After all a good place to enjoy your vacation safe and having fun. Good shows every night.

Above and beyond.. Well done..

Arrived in the middle of the storm that engulfed east Majorca and was soaked to the skin....a towel was immediately provided, a caring tone was given and there was no hurry for me to sign stuff and check in... Extremely professional... Was half board and had no complaints at all about the food...the suite had a bedroom which i didn't expect and was spotless.... The bar was nice and at €2 a pint i couldn't complain... Overall, was beyond my expectations and would recommend without a doubt.. Well done to all the staff involved..

modern comfortable hotel

I had a lovely stay at the som llevante suites. good spacious room with comfortable spacious bed, tv and a very good shower.the room and shower kept very clean. the hotel is in a good location away from noise except for entertainment in the evening which stopped latest 11pm. the swimming pools were ideal for children or adults with a lifeguard on duty the concierge service was very good and most helpful with my late, destroyed luggage. the ability of the female concierge to speak Spanish to the travel company was a huge asset. the food at breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. all staff very friendly and helpful

First night moved to another hotel over booked.apparently this is common prectice here .inside good .pool area needs cleaning dailey never saw this and only saw tge bool checked once. Staff good

nice clean hotel no frills!

the hotel is nice and clean and perfectly place less then 200m from the beach and main promanarde. Though advertised as a 4 star it is more like a superior 3 star with little thrills. The pool is small and there are not enough sun beds when the hotel is full. I would reccomend taking breakfast as it is very good though for 2 weeks there is very little variation.

Spacious rooms, good outlook, wifi rubbish-' thank god for roaming data', food ok standard, Has been said before on reviews it is not a 4* hotel more a 3*. 1 thing did get my goat a bit was being told by an annoying little waiter 'you can't drink you own shop bought water at the pool' really!!! go away manuel.

Nice if you have children as it’s close to everything without feeling you’re living in a resort. The breakfast has a lot on offer and the staff are very helpful. Would recommend hiring a car to see more as not a lot of sights nearby. It is no frills (very basic) place and the rooms could use a spruce up and updating to compete with neighbouring hotels. Does what is says on the tin. Safe place to lay your head down after sightseeing. Loved front of house staff and breakfast staff.

Nice Hotel some small problems

The hotel had brilliant rooms(Suites)and is located in central Cala Bona near to all amenites.As I had only booked Bed and Breakfast I found the food adequate.The other guests who had booked half board were all complaining about the standard of the evening meal to Hotel staff but I cannot judge this for myself.This was the main topic of conversation at Hotel.There is an English themed pub inside the hotel and is very reasonably priced.All in allI found this Hotel good value for my money and would stay again albeit Room only.

Very disappointed this hotel is not worthy as a 4*

The hotel experience was very disappointing and is not to the standard of a 4* hotel. The room did not have 3 pin sockets at all or any tea/coffee making facility. The AC in the room was not working as it should and the bed and pillows were not comfortable struggled to sleep! There was a safe in the room as would be expected but there was an extra charge for using it. There were no gown or slippers in the room and the toiletries were not consistently left in the room each day! The hotel had one small desk as a reception desk which was not always staffed and when it was staffed the staff were not professional in their presentation in terms of uniform and approach. The gym had one tiny lift to fit 3 people and it did not look in good condition and made a lot of noise. The hotel had a 'gym' which was a small room with a cycle and a chest press type weight machine. There was no treadmill, exercise mat, water cooler, fruit, mirror, dumbbells, other weight machines, AC, etc. The breakfast choices were not great and things were not labelled eg the type of cheese. There were mushrooms on one day but black and burnt. There was not potato dish and the scrambled eggs were very dry and not done correctly. There was no cold water available and not a consistent range of fruit each morning. On the last day at time of checkout when staff knocked and opened the room door even though the do no disturb sign was there. They disturbed privacy knowing we were there in the room!!
