There’s only one elevator near the lobby so you either have to take that and walk ridiculously far down a hallway to the other buildings to get to your room or lug your luggage up stairs outside your building to be closer to your room. The drunk frat boys hog the pool and hot tub. Our room also smelled terrible upon arrival. The prices advertised in the lobby market were lower than what I was actually charged for as well. We also paid for a river view room and got a pool view. The pictures must have been taken when the hotel and equipment was all brand new because many of the outside activities were weathered and broken. That being said, when you actually leave the hotel you are in walking distance of some really cool views. Just make sure you’re walking in the right direction otherwise you might get attacked by the methhead posted in front of Safeway or any of the other derelict buildings surrounding it. You do get a free beverage ticket. I got an iced coffee, and that was good. All in all… eh. Not the worst place to stay, but definitely not even remotely the best.

The front desk staff was wonderful in helping us resolve 3 problems - one was with our reservation; then they called to say we had left a cane in the room. It was one of our hiking canes. They have gone over and above helping us have an enjoyable stay, for which we are very thankful, especially since we were stressed because a family member was in hospital.

Mini resort in Spokane

Enjoyed seeing the historical pictures posted on the outside walls and the quotes painted on the inside walls. The Osprey Restaurant has sufficient menu options. Food is very good. Outdoor seating is very nice and includes a lovely view of the river. There is access to a walking path along the river and can also see kyaks and paddle boats.

Check-in was good. Went to room, key card wouldn't work & there was a Do not Disturb sign on door so back to the front desk. This hotel is decent rooms aren’t great but they’ll do. Location is probably the best thing about the hotel not too far from downtown and freeway. Pool was also a plus but during my stay the kid playground and pool were under construction.
