nice room good staff and hotel was kept up well. not impressed that there was a charge for water in the room. Unhappy with the queen mattress. it was lumpy and rolled to the middle of the bed. Definately need an upgrade for your mattresses.

We were upgraded to a very nice suite and did that make a difference for the whole trip. Quiet, clean rooms, comfortable, showers with abundant hot water, personable staff at all times, and there was a very nice elegance about the hotel. The thermostat worked so we were comfortable with cold weather outside. It was convenient having restaurants on premises and nice to be given courtesy discounts. The location nearer the St. Louis Museum of Art was a plus. This was our first foray using a hotel over Airbnbs, and we made a good decision. We would rebook if the prices stay steady.
