I was so happy with my stay! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I can’t say that about some other places I went in St Louis. The room was clean and nice. I was so impressed with the complimentary breakfast. There was some great choices but most of all they had gluten free muffins and bagels. I have a gluten allergy, so I was over the moon that they had gluten free options. The only down side was that parking was tight and limited. But overall a great stay.

No clue how this place has a 9.2 rating. It's not terrible but when I tried to call before reserving (3 attempts) there was a feedback-like noise on the line so I couldn't ask vital questions. The internet is 8 mbps. Again, not terrible, but you have to pay additional for faster speeds and they don't even tell you what the upgraded speed would be. Virtually 0 foot traffic in this area so paying $20 a day to use their tiny, uncovered parking structure is ridiculous. The single-bed suites are the size and shape of a shoebox (250 ft sq ft!) and you have a 50/50 chance of a great view of downtown or, ugh, an up close and personal look at the STL FBI field office. Yay! A gloomy, fenced-in, gov building. Thin walls, not much within walking distance, and overpriced. Don't get me wrong, building is clean, seems fairly new, and the staff are fine. But this place is a prime example of a big name (Marriott) using its rep to try and squeeze every dime they can out of travelers. Only 30 or so basic cable channels, btw, and because internet is slow, don't plan on streaming much without paying an additional daily fee. If you have no intention of spending much time in your actual room, this place, while pricey, is decent enough.

The staff fulfilled my request to have a room with a view and it was amazing. The staff were friendly, they greeted me everyday. The most important factor was a spotless and clean room which was furnished with both fridge and microwave. Its rare to book a room with basic amenities now days. I also enjoyed having hot and cold breakfast included.
