I was driving 11 hours prior to arriving, so I wasn't answering my phone. At a gas station, I saw that the hotel had called a couple of times, but LEFT NO MESSAGE. I tried calling back several times, but the hotel number would not connect, and the corporate number was closed for the day. I received no message, voicemail, text, email...NOTHING. So, we arrived to find the power out, which I know is out of the hotel's control, but the lack of follow up and customer care was abysmal. All the other hotels in the area are booked, so I am stuck at a nasty, rundown place in a shady neighborhood in Illinois. I am beyond disgusted.

Our room was good, the only problem was that our toilet did not flush when we returned to the hotel for the night to sleep. It was inconvenient but we just used the lobby restroom instead as we weren’t there very long. Perfect hotel for a night stay otherwise!

Wonderful stay!!

My stay was very enjoyable. I was warmly greeted and offered complimentary snacks and either wine or beer to take up to my room or eat in the dining area. My room was ready and beautifully clean. I highly recommend a stay here and I will stay again in the future.
