We had *such* a good time at the Hideaway. The location is beautiful - amazing coral straight off the shore and a lovely beach. The staff were fabulous, really helpful and fun. The resort is a bit older and not glamorous but the setting and the activities more than made up for it. The food was generally good, particularly the Japanese grill. Prepare to relax, to laugh a lot and to have a great holiday!

Absolutely amazing staff who were brilliant our entire stay !!. Tash and Dan and the rest of the team were the perfect hosts. Beautiful location with plenty of outdoor activities to do or simply relax with a book by the pool. Kids club for the little people was great too. Hideaway isn`t 5 star its a little tired and could do with a revamp yet perfectly suitable for what we needed with a young family. Highly recommend if you are looking for a value for money Fiji stay.

Large rooms! We choose a non ocean front as it had an outdoor shower. Resort was well kept and quiet. Good internet in main areas. Well stocked gift shop (some trinkets were cheaper than the ‘pop up’ local stalls that set up at the hotel). Fairly well lit at night walking to rooms (the kids liked looking for frogs). Good menu options and variety of breakfast foods. You could order food from the bar in between restaurant times I think. Free daily activities offered however during our stay not many guests got involved on the few occasions I saw (I was in my room unwell a few days- not Fiji related). Kids club is available however we didn’t see anyone use it as there weren’t many kids and some just played in the pool. Tide was out most of the day (late May). (It seemed like low occupancy? Very quiet). Transfer from airport to hideaway was about $165fjd for 3 people- And they waited more than an hour due to our delayed flight. Only negative was not knowing about some of the available options- I.e village tour from the hotel, etc however that might be because I didn’t explore the hotel until the last day. POV- If planning day trips from Nadi you’re best to do it at start or end of your stay to avoid long travel back & forth. It’s older but neat. It’s not the ‘outriggers’ where many families go, but a lot cheaper and value for money. I would stay there again.

My sister and I truly enjoyed our one-week stay at Fiji Hideaway. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the absence of a television in the room—it gave us the perfect opportunity to fully disconnect and relax. The hotel's beachfront location was ideal for early morning walks, and the overall environment was both serene and refreshing. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Was not 3.5/4 star they put us in cheap room we asked tobe taken to the room we paid for. Toilet seat needed changing bathroom wld only open half way asked to be fixed twice they never came. Meals average. Buffett desserts plain cake no cream no custard . Not happy

The food needs to be looked at. It wasn't cheap but mostly the quality was lacking in all areas - seasoning, quality, variety (for people staying a week or more). The bar menu needs to be open 24/7 as cheap alternatives. The deserts were nice.

My husband and I stayed for 10 days during May. We were booked in a Deluxe oceanview bure and enjoyed sitting on our porch watching the ocean with a morning coffee or afternoon drink. This resort offers various accomadation options, it is clean and although not the most modern, it had absolutely everything we needed. Staff were great and friendly and if we had any requests or needed anything they were more than happy to assist or advise. I read all the reviews but nowhere did anyone mentioned the amazing aqua marine life we could see at this resort. Low tide corals and high tide snorkling were such a treat and we were so surprised. We enjoyed the food, local community performing and staff entertaining us from morning pool activities to evening dances and "happy hour" quizzes. There are also many other activities and tours you can do from here. Even visit to the local school and community that makes this resort unique in providing a true Fiji love experience. If you dont have a rental, no problem you can either book a transfer to other towns or book a car for the day to go siteseeing on your own. The shop onsite offers colddrinks, bottled water, snacks, icecream and lollies. They also stock a variety of swimwear, clothing, suscreen and even regular first aid supplies. We bought some nice local made gifts from them. We will definitely come back to visit this resort again. Vinaka Hideaway we appreciate you sharing your Fijian culture with us.

The place was below basic with room accommodation,no water in fridge, no milk, no ice cube tray. Completely empty. Could not accommodate for Coeliac (gluten Free) except 2x meals in Japanese restaurant. Was there for 5 nights. No beach towels available. Service was extremely slow. Massage was pathetic, prices for meals , drinks, and activities were unreasonable. DO NOT GO

Nice, quiet resort. Bure was very nice, clean and comfortable and enjoyed it's outdoor shower. Staff are awesome, very friendly. The core of the resort does needs some TLC. Lobby, eating area, bar, pool are showing their age. A number of the amenities where not in use.
