The kitchen was shut down due to remodel. We had a smoke detector that chirped all night with low battery. They lost one of our 3 room reservations. We had to use a blow up mattress and double up people in 1 room. The thermostat was loose on the wall, the water flow was bad and there were no cups for the coffee maker, the ice machine did not work in the hallway. One of our 2 rooms, the toilet did not have water and had to load it every time with water from the sink. The lobby carpet/rug was dirty. The free parking lot was toar up for repair so we had to spend extra for public parking lot.

It was overall a good stay. Staff was nice and helpful. Elevators sound like they need renovations. Room could be slightly cleaner but overall pretty solid. Ice machine weren’t working on my floor

We arrived at 5:45, our room wasn’t ready despite being after check in time. The restaurant was closed with no mention of that on the website. The parking was rough due to their parking area being closed for construction which I knew ahead of time and it wasn’t as bad as anticipated. The room was clean, beds were pretty comfortable and the AC worked well. The beds did not have comforters on them, just sheets and a very thin blanket, which was not ideal. The bath room was also dated with the vent not working, shower hard to turn off, and the toilet kept clogging. But everything was clean. The pool was in fair condition but kinda cloudy, and wasn’t always stocked with towels. Overall, while adequate, it was a kind of a disappointing stay, and will not likely choose this hotel again for my next trip to St. Louis or refer anyone there.

I thoight it was unique that the pool was on the second floor. However we were not greeted when we walked in, the staff were clearly stressed as they were huffing while helping us and we had to pay for parking 2 blocks away from the hotel. I don't remember seeing that we had to pay for parking when I booked the hotel.

Parking was bad. We had to find parking 2 blocks from the hotel and walk with all our bags. When we got to our room everything was unplugged including the fridge. Once we waited about 2 hours for the fridge to get cold- we noticed it wasn’t working. We went downstairs to let the front desk know and it seemed like they were bothered we went to tell them. They ended up sending someone to replace the fridge and were told to wait 20 minutes for it to get cold. Once an hour passed we checked it and it still didn’t get cold. They need to work better on checking everything before they check people in.

The front desk was unprofessional. The rooms are not up to standard. You can tell that the owners took immediate occupancy but didn’t put money into hotel property. There are old carpet stains and they even kept the old sheets from previous Holiday Inn. The Cleaning crew were trying their best with what the owner is giving which is nothing . I will never stay here again. It’s not what it looks like online [ catfish]. Elevators old. The wait time for the elevators is horrible. Windows dirty . Bathroom ceiling peeling and tub cracked wish I could upload pics

Property was near to the convention centre, accessible to other areas. Cleanliness was overall good. Most staff friendly, some could benefit from customer training. Some facilities were in perfect working order and others were out of order and was NOT fixed throughout my 12 day stay Kitchen was under renovations and there was an area for purchasing snacks but stock was very limited and did not cater for people's dietary needs.

Check in was slow but staff was nice. Hotel was clean and in decent condition. Had to walk a few blocks to get downtown but still decent location. Parking options were limited.
