Pet friendly Cottage with fenced yard!

For those looking for a more private setting this property is perfect for a couple or small family. This cute classic 'naval' cottage, constructed for naval airmen stationed on the island during the second world war, is charming from the front yard to the original hardwood floors awaiting your steps inside.
Two cozy, quiet bedrooms perfect for a sound island's sleep, and two distinct living areas for those preferring to staying up. These areas include a main living room, comfortably furnished, splashing oceanic colors and island styles, and an additional living area with 2 recliners, large desk area and an additional TV. The perfect vacation 'workspace'
So, if you have to work while staying on the Island, you have an office space separate from others.

The master is comfortably furnished with a plush queen bed. The guest room has two newer twin beds. The bath has been totally updated with all tile and beaded board, and ample storage for all your bath linens and toiletries.

The large deck, overlooking the enormous, fenced-in backyard, provides a great spot for outdoor dining, enjoying morning coffee or lounging around with afternoon cocktails. Your furry pets will love the ability to run free! A charcoal grill is provided.
The quaint kitchen has dishwasher plus all the basic necessities. Gas Stove. Many upgrades in 2021. The eat-in dining nook provides comfortable seating for 4-6 with built in bench seats.

This is an ideal cottage for pets small and large.

Laundry room with full washer/dryer is located off the deck. All that is missing is the ocean. There is beach within a mile which is tide contingent meaning no beach at high tide. The better beaches are within 2 miles so you probably want to drive or take bikes. There are county restrictions about dogs on the beach so you want to be familiar with these. No dogs not on a leash between Memorial day and Labor Day.

As the owner I do my best to ensure home is comfortable and inviting. You will find a supply of many basic items such as soap, TP, paper towels, dish detergent and laundry detergent. You will have enough coffee for at least the first few nights. I live locally and am in the home before every guest.

Please note that all TV's are smart TV's so you have access to all your streaming services. I have Hulu Live set up to provide you with "live" TV. I do not provide traditional cable services.

It was everything that it said it would be, we took our senior dog and she loved it. There are so many beaches to choose from, we rented beach cruisers for 3 days, and rode everywhere. The property was pristine, and the property manager was lovely we couldn't find the laundry detergent so i messaged her and she dropped off the next morning very sweet lady. I would recommend this to everyone. The only thing That i would say is. The master bed was really high so we couldn't sleep all of us together in fear of our senior dog falling off the bed. The twin beds worked but it was only us 3, so if your coming with others be prepared. The grounds were beautiful. We loved hanging outside and she even had special spray out for mosquitoes. Love love love. Will definitely go back. Thanks so much

We have been coming to Saint Simons for several years and this by far was our most favorite house we have rented. Super cute, clean, inviting and had everything you needed. We had two dogs and the fenced in yard was amazing. Our dogs loved the big yard and the freedom to run and play. The back deck is nice. We sat out and ate all our meals there every single day. a lot of attention to detail in this home. The back bathroom off the back of the house is a wonderful addition. Host was amazing to deal with very friendly very pleasant. We definitely will come back to this home from here on out.

Property was poorly maintained: smelled moldy and damp; bathroom sink was stopped up; shower controls did not function properly (no hot water, only warm), kitchen was poorly organized for cooking, kitchen cabinets were warped and did not open properly; TV was of poor quality and sound was horrible; HVAC grille was grimy and dusty. SAFETY HAZARD: sliding glass door to back deck did not lock.
