Marketing photos way better than actual hotel

This hotel is dated and weathered. While overall it was clean, the room gave the sense that it was more MOTEL than Hotel, with scratched, broken and worn out doors, cabinets and light fixtures. The front door of the hotel had a 3 foot long piece of weather stripping sticking out for TWO DAYS and nobody on the staff bothered to fix it. The underground parking had pipes leaking on cars, and the room's bathtub was extremely slow to drain and the shower head was disconnected from the wall. On the plus side, their staff was kind. It's hard to believe the Hilton Brand would leave their name on a property so desparately in need in an update.

GREAT customer service and staff

The customer service was top notch by all the staff we encountered and dealt with. We were overall very happy with our stay. We went to CT, sadly, for a funeral. Knowing that, the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate and comfort us however they could.

This was once my favorite hotel. I attended my Prom there in the 90’s. I grew up in Stamford & saw this Hotel change names a couple times as well over the years. I visited 1/25 & was SHOCKED that its condition is run down & comparable to most MOTELS! It’s dirty & the jetted tubs are ALL BROKEN according to Management! That was the primary reason I booked a suite! After being moved to another room that had another broken bath tub, I was only compensated $39 & breakfast for the disgusting condition I paid $300 $25 for parking. I will never stay there again! I’m truly sad as this hotel holds a lot of great memories! You would think with all of the new Hotels that have opened downtown Stamford they would care more about these essential services they offer starting with repairing or replacing broken amenities.

If you liked the 90s you’ll love this hotel

The hotel is clean. Staff are friendly. The furniture and decor are dated. I read that the property is to be redeveloped which explains its condition.
I’m sure this was impressive when it first opened

Awful experience!!!

What an awful experience! There was a narcotics anonymous event going on- 3,000 People. Crowded, loud, front desk staff could care less than we were there with our kids. Room was dirty and small. Never again!!!

Serviceable and expeditious staff. Clean room. Great comfortable beds. However, the bathtub water stopper was not working, there were not enough towels (expected one towel per guest), there was no conditioner for the hair and the thermostat kept lowering the temperature below 70 although i set it up to 72.
