Family Trip

We had an excellent stay from start to finish. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Check in was very easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t bring a pack n play with us and they brought one up to us. The continental breakfast was one of the best I have seen. There were SO many options it was fantastic. The dining area, lobby, and pool area were extremely clean. There was always someone cleaning something in the common areas. The pool was very fun for our 14 month old and 3 year old. Check out was just as simple. We would stay at this location again in the future!

The hotel is very modern, clean, and is close to a lot of great stores and restaurants! They have a great selection for breakfast food and it was delicious. Only two complaints were that they only had bold flavoured coffee(which is completely a preference complaint), and they had used some kind of scent/essential oil in the room and it was very overpowering to the point where we had to leave the door and window open for a good 10-15 minutes to help dissipate the smell. The scent is fine in the hallway but was too much in the room.

The smell in the elevator and room was foul. The bathroom was filthy , walls and outlets had visible filth and perhaps bodily fluids. It was unacceptable and has it not been 3 am when we arrived , I would have taken my family elsewhere.

I wasn't aware that when I checked in after reserving rooms through Expedia that as of June I would still need to provide a credit card for the security deposit. We were here on a family emergency at the HSC and was told we would not be able to go home at least for the night. I reserved and paid the 2 rooms we needed through Expedia in the middle of the night so once we were good to leave our family member at the hospital that we could just come and sleep. Since they said we had to pay a $500.00 security deposit for each room and the actual room cost was non-refundable. We were short on funds as we had to come here by life-flight we certainly couldn't afford to go elsewhere. The lady at the hotel desk was so awesome. Once she knew our situation she went and talked to the manager and he in turn called his boss. She was able to check-in and use our debit card for the 2 $500.00 deposits. I am very grateful for that help and for sure I am going to recommend this hotel and I do plan on coming to stay here again, either for work or pleasure. She took a whole lot of help beyond checking us in as we didn't need to worry about losing our payment for the rooms
