Nice hotel right in the center of crazy Kabukicho and Shinjuku. Not advised location for children though as it’s got a seedy aspect around there.

Great stay in Kabukicho

Lovely time as always. The hotel is such a treat and conveniently located in a very central location in Kabukicho which offers access to a lot of train lines via the Shinjuku station. Plus you’re right by two movie theaters and several arcades! And of course lots of night life options.

The rooms are small but very comfortable for 2 people. The shower room was large. Great central location with easy walking to train stations. Staff are friendly. Room was clean. Beds are firm but I like that. Would recommend for convenience and nightlife and shopping!

Great hotel. Right in the middle of Shinjuku. Only issue is that it sits right at the street where there are numerous strip establishment's so men are frequently confronted by men who are trying to get male tourists to come to the clubs and get “massages”. It wasn’t bad enough for my son and I to feel uncomfortable or apprehensive. But it might cause some concern to others. Having said all of that, I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

A very cramped stay.

The location is something else. I loved Kabukicho and think it’s a great place for people want to explore Tokyo’s wild side. And despite the craziness outside, the hotel was quiet. My problems were with comfort. The rooms are extremely small. Even after upgrading to the “comfort double” we had to Tetris ourselves in this room (e.g., one of us had to stand in the bathroom so the other could open a suitcase). I think this would be fine if you have almost no baggage, but even then you’d find it cramped. I never found the bed comfortable. It always felt like I was sleeping on a pile of hardcover books. Another drawback was that the Godzilla head terrace was closed the whole time we stayed. You could still see it well from the lobby but I’m sure a ton of people were disappointed. That’s one of the hotel’s main draws. Still, I did enjoy walking home and seeing the giant Godzilla greeting us each time!

The biggest advantage is a great location, many attractions, restaurants and shops are just a short walk away, and train station making it convenient for sight seeing. The rooms were clean well-maintained, but they were quite small, which might be an issue if you have a lot of luggage or prefer more space. One downside was the noise level-due to hotel's proximity to busy streets and night life.
