Lovely setting but restaurant was closed. Luckily receptionist found us excellent restaurant nearby with very good taxi service there and back.

A beautiful hotel with most attractive gardens. The hosts were most welcoming and assisted with the suitcases, they were a little difficult to find when I wanted to ask some questions

A Bargain for the Quality

**Warning, your GPS will likely take you to the wrong town! Use you phone and link to the address here using Google maps. What a charming little inn! And a bargain for the price! Great, firm mattress and high-end sheets. I'm just sorry we didn't make advanced reservations for dinner, as I'm sure it would have been delicious, and it was certainly reasonably priced. Breakfast wasn't a huge selection, but things were tasty. We arrived after dinner, so the owner brought us cookies and tea into the peaceful sitting room.

Charming B&B in Eastern France

Great old home that has been updated to be fairly comfortable. Old room with a complete updated bathroom. Bed was a little small and firm, but tolerable for one night. Owner speaks very good English. He is also the chief cook, and prepared a wonderful breakfast buffet (included) consisting of the usual European fare plus make-your-own crepes. Property garden area was pleasant to walk about. This hotel is a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip. It was one of the highlights of our vacation.

Recommendable

Regularly travelling within France, I´m aware of the difficulty to find a good hotel. Cleanliness and overall condition are often an issue. Not here. This is hotel has a very special ambience. The rooms are reasonable large and very clean – at least mine. The service is multi-lingual. Best was the dinner. Although not ordered a day in advance, as this is recommended by the hotel manager, I could get one. There was no choice for the main course. Nevertheless, it was one of the best menus I ever had. Stéphane did it excellent.

Super Service

Wir waren auf einer motorradtour und mussten spät noch ein Zimmer buchen. Die Wahl viel auf dieses Hotel. Als wir gegen19:30 ankamen haben wir erfahren dass Abendessen möglich ist aber nur nach Voranmeldung vor 18 Uhr. Mit dem Motorrad wollten wir nicht ins nahe gelegene Selestat. Der Wirt war super nett und hat eine kalte Platte mit Wurst und Käse zubereitet. Plus etwas vom Abendmenü und das Dessert vom Abend. Bier gabs vom Fass und die Flasche Wein war günstig. Sehr zuvorkommend und flexibel.

Petit-déjeuner excellent - bons produits maison. Chambre un peu décevant - douche sur la baignoire qu'il fallait tenir à la main - couple à côté avait un chien qui aboyait à 11h du soir. Sinon, cadre très joli
