Best experience! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Only downside was people a few rooms away thinking it’s okay to let their kids have a meltdown in the hallway at 7.30am when you’re on holidays!

Wonderful place. Swimming pool fantastic. Close to lake for a lovely walk. Service/staff excellent. Unfortunately the air conditioner was very noisy if you had it below 20. Staff offered to change our room but we were already in bed and too tired from driving. We didn’t realise that 20plus made it less noisy but we wanted it to be cool so we had to put up with this horrible rumble for over 3 hours plus and then couldn’t stand it and switched it off. We’re compensated with free breakfast. Very nice of them to try to make up for my lack of sleep.

The building really needs to be demolished and replaced with a new one—it looks like a nursing home. We booked this hotel for two nights but left immediately after we arrived. I definitely do not recommend it. That said, to be fair, the room itself wasn’t bad. All the furniture is old, but it was clean and in decent condition.

Very good hotel. Got a very early check in (it’s January!) which we greatly appreciated as we weren’t feeling great. Wonderful staff. Room perhaps a little dated but clean and comfy. Excellent location for parliament and galleries. Only topic was that the room seemed to creak a lot in the evening (like floor boards expanding and contracting) which was surprisingly loud. But seemed to calm down and got a good nights sleep. Would definitely stay again.
