It was okay

We included this stay amongst a number of stops on a trip throughout Jordan. We were really excited to stay and experience the Dead Sea. In my honest opinion the hotel is poor value for money. Whilst the room was lovely anything extra was not included. With regards to the food, we experienced terrible service at the beach lounge. Our waiter was rude and not particularly helpful. Our order had been forgotten about and we had to ask twice about the drinks and ask where the food was after a long wait. We were asked to move so someone else could eat where we were waiting for 30mins. The portions were tiny and extremely overpriced. Dinner was unlike anything we have experienced on holiday before. The dining hall was busy and full of crying children or children who were not supervised/running around whilst we were trying to eat when we went for dinner at 9pm. A lot of the hot food was cold in serving dishes. Unsupervised children were putting their hands in the chocolate fountain helping themselves whatever they could reach leaving half eaten bits of food on the counters. We tried to give feedback to the food and beverage manager but he was not on shift and there was no follow up. We had lovely experiences in the spa but you need to pay extra to use this facility. Our spa therapists were Emma and Aisa. I’m glad we paid extra for the use of the spa because the other pools were so busy and full. Breakfast was great and a lot calmer as we went quite early. We enjoyed the hotel with a half boar package, both meals were excellent. We went in to the Zara Spa on the second day and enjoyed it very much
