Mayer Inn wins in terms of the convenience of it's location and pricing -- right in front of the MRT exit, linked to underground malls and a range of convenience stores, shops and restaurants within a few steps reach. However, the experience with the staff there could leave more to be desired - they weren't friendly, often curt. The cleaning staff were more helpful and kinder than those at reception. The rooms also had very thin walls - you could hear laughing, talking, stomping or things dropping on the floors throughout the day and night, so long as your neighbours were in the room. Taking the lift up to your rooms was quite a chore, as the hotel was part of a larger building which housed other offices, hotels etc. -- waiting for the lift just to go to your specific level could often take quite a few rounds. The rooms were pretty pleasant and well-equipped, room maintenance and cleanliness was also done well. It was also sufficiently spacious to fit 3 pax + luggages. The hotel provided free laundry and dryers, where you only had to pay for the detergent -- but the 3 dryers were pretty much useless - small, not the industrial type, so it couldn't dry clothes, only socks and small items. In the end, we had to walk to the nearest laundromat 10 mins away just to get our clothes dry. So we hope the hotel can consider changing their dryers to better ones. Overall, the stay was just average - we would choose somewhere else next time.

Clean room, all of amenities are ok. The hotel near the MRT station is so convenient. Family mart at first floor somewhat old. The room have no window but it’s ok. I don’t know they have any laundry or not. Only have 2 elevators so they’re take some minutes to get down in prime time (check in, check out time)

There is no thermostat in the room so if you like it cool, this is perfect, otherwise, you may want to have a long sleeve shirt. I tend to get cold easily. The check in is on the fifth floor so you fo have to take an elevator up. May want to allow extra time for picking up luggage if you leave it there when you check out. Floor creaked in my room when I walked on it but otherwise room was v clean wifi worked well for me. It is so walkable to mrt from airport n high speed rail station.

Most uncomfortable beds. In this days and age when you can buy a bed in a box and be so comfortable it’s inexcusable to have mattresses like bricks. The property did accommodate us with an extra blanket to sleep on top of us but the damage is done my back is messed up. I am not someone with back problems at all. We even asked to upgrade to a more expensive room for a better bed but they said they were all the same. Not worth the bargain deal at all. The staff was nice. Location was very convenient.

일단 타이베이역에서 길건너면바로있어서 접근성이 아주좋고 옆에백화점이 있어 찾기가 매우 쉬우며 1층에 패밀리마트까지 있어 편의성은 아주 좋습니다 짧게 머무기에는 여기만한곳이 없는것같아요

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The room totally wasn't up to expectation for the price I paid for. Mosquito bites from first night to last night. Toilet have weird smell, carpet is very dirty, room is dusty, cigarettes smell when we open up the room door every day we are back. The waiting time for the lift in the morning is super long. Staff was still ok but the first day shock us as issued us wrong room.

I was given a room directly behind the lift, every morning the cranking sound starts at 6am, and omg there goes my sleep, I've to endure this for 6 days. I regretted booking early with the promotion as I thought I will get an early bird discount, but in the end, it makes no difference if I had book later and probably able to get a room with view for the same price.

My stay was very comfortable, the room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk to Taipei Main Station via the underground passage, making it very convenient to get around.The only minor point is that my room didn’t have a window, so I couldn’t tell the weather outside. Overall, still a great and pleasant stay.

Great location and very convenient. Only drawback is there are only 2 lifts servicing many floors of the building and the hotel and you need to patient and wait for lift. Sometimes it can take more than 5 minutes as the lifts are packed.
