Excellent stay but can be better

It was great. From check in till check out it was excellent. Housekeeping is immaculate and efficient. We love the breakfast and that we can choose to have it in either Rainbow Terrace or Park Avenue. The spread is good and every day there is some different items. However if there were more different items it would be much better. The room is spacious and comfortable BUT the pillows are too soft; almost flat. And as a Gold member of Hotels.com I was disappointed that I was not upgraded even though I booked 3 rooms. At least upgrade my room it would be great so my family can gather for nightcap.

I only stay at this hotel when in Taipei. The location is convenient. The service is excellent. The amenities are good. My only suggestion for improvement is to enliven the environment and amenities in the business lounge.

The location of the hotel is in a very nice area. However, the room is super dated. We used the beverage voucher provided by Expedia at the bar on the first floor, which turned out to be a terrible experience with rude staff and bad service. I don’t think I would ever stay there in the future.
