Vacation - Trip - Amazing

Extremely clean hotel and the staff are amazingly friendly. The included breakfast was filling and enjoyable. During my stay, had one question, but the management quickly addressed it and wrote me a personal letter to respond - amazing! Should i chose to visit again, will definitely stay here again and is convenient to many night activities.

All the service staffs are friendly and helpful. Room rate come with breakfast which has wide spread of variety and fresh fruits and salad. I would recommend and willl come again in my next vacation.

Overall its a quite place to stay but no window which was ashame . The sink was in the middle of the room which was un helpful . Two bottles of drinking water is so good everyday . Breakfast is fantastic. And a lot of choices .

Excellent customer service at the hotel. Staff very polite and helpful. Staff always greet guests with a smile and are very attentive to guests’ needs and comfort. Location is fantastic , breakfast is excellent, and so convenient to hop into a taxi as the taxi stand is right in front of the hotel. Thank you very much for the fantastic experience during my 4 nights 5 days stay in Taipei.

The hotel is right next to Ximending. Everything is accessible - food and shopping are within reach. I really like the location of the hotel. The staff are very nice and the place is clean. They even helped me book a taxi when my Klook booking didn't show up. They are very helpful. If you are planning to visit Taipei, this is the best hotel stay at.

Hotel was located right in Ximending, making it extremely convenient to shop around the area. Breakfast was alright as the spread wasn’t too impressive. Room was really clean and doesnt felt like a hotel with age. Sleep was fine although bed was slightly creaky and pillow was quite soft. On the downside, there isn’t a separate bathroom (please check out the room pics and you will understand) and felt really cold once I stepped out of the shower. Doesn’t help that there is no heater in the room and the weather outside is 9 deg. Overall, a nice stay and would recommend if you intend to shop a lot at Ximen district.

Booked a Deluxe Room for 2 from 13-17 Feb. Was surprised to be given a room on the second floor that was opposite the staff elevator and while it had a window, the view was of the back alley and Ji Guang Fried Chicken (it was kind of good as it allowed us to sneak down to buy the chicken when we saw there was no queue as JG can attract quite a lot of customers). However, the reception was very good, room was nice and clean with a wide array of television channels to choose from. Toilet was well equipped with soap and a bidet, but would've appreciated perhaps a set of toothbrush and toothpaste for each guest. Service wise was excellent, with friendly staff to hold the door for us and usher us to the lifts. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel and make use of their rest facilities for guests who have checked out as we were catching a late flight. Location wise, definitely very convenient as it's just a stone's throw from Ximen station, the Red House, Rainbow Road and other attractions. All in all, enjoyed our stay here, especially pleased with the service of the staff. Will recommend.

Great little hotel

I am a female solo traveler and opted for a solo room. It was perfect. There is no window though if that bothers you. You need a key card to use the elevator so i always felt safe. There is a nice cafe with a buffet for breakfast and lunch. The location is great because it is right around the corner from the Ximen subway station. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. I was there over the Lantern Festival and the street was magical at night with all the lights and displays. The staff was very helpful and attentive. I definitely recommend the Westgate. The price was right too!

The staff are very nice and helpful. Room is small, but it is functioning well. Be is firm and comfortable. Best location for food, closed to subway station. Free breakfast and small canned coke and sprite in room.

Comfortable stay

Really comfortable beds and excellent customer service. Check in was fast and they were quick at helping us with our bags on arrival. Rooms were a good size with complimentary pineapple cake snacks and nice coffees refilled each day. Showers were powerful and clean too. I’d stay here again, particularly given its central location
