Absolutely disgusting. Floor was sticky. Weird wet carpet in between beds. Air conditioning loud and either didnt work or was too cold. Bathroom constantly smelled like pee. Pubes and various dirt in drawers. When you turned water on at sink it smelled like a sewer. Comforters and sheets had stains on them. I had to sleep with my shoes on.

The room was horribly dirty. There was a footprint on the floor and a handprint on the wall. The toilet looked like someone had flushed potting soil down it and there was some still in there, the counter for the sink had gunk on it and there were several stains on the blankets. The toilet handle had a weird red stain like blood and the seat was covered in hair and grime. The shower was full of nasty streaks of dirt. The room smelled nauseatingly strong like cigarettes. There were random shirtless men hanging out on the balcony at 2am along with empty lawn chairs on the balconies and in the parking lot- where two more men were drinking beers and leaving them in front of their room’s front door. Very sketchy and the room was definitely not cleaned at all before we arrived. The pics look bad but I promise it was worse in person. Even besides the dirt and grime, we did not feel safe here. We ended up leaving and going to a different hotel. It was definitely not worth saving money to stay here, just spend more at a different hotel.

People outside room drinking beer, smoking, and talking loudly at 1:30am. Sketchy people walking around property. Room deadlock didn’t work. It was pulled from the door. Would NOT recommend, especially with children around.

The best thing going for this property is the concierge Hunter. The rooms are hit or miss on cleanliness. We stayed on Wednesday and the room was disgustingly filthy. We returned and stayed on Saturday and the room was pleasantly clean. We are repeat guests because of our budget. Just know that if you happen into a room that is not Clean to request another.

The best thing about this property is front desk concierge Hunter. After that, it’s hit or miss. We stayed twice this week. Wed- the room was disgustingly filthy. Sat- the room was pleasantly clean. We are repeat guests simply because of our budget. Just know that you can ask for another room- and it may be better.

Our stay at red roof inn in hurricane wv was absolutely wonderful! You can tell our room and the hotel was recently remodeled, it was just a wonderful experience. I travel a lot for work and typically always stay at red roof inns and this was definitely one of the nicer ones we’ve ever stayed at. Will be back next time business brings me in the area!

There is people hanging out all over the place, loud talking. We called down at 2:00a.m. About all the people outside hanging out and making noise, finally stopped at 2:30. Started back up a little bit later, someone dropped a container of glass. I had never been afraid in a place before, but will say I was here. DO NOT STAY HERE! It was the worst place I have ever been!!
