Hotel was beautiful. Only bad thing I would mention is the shuttle. Drop off/pick up to and from LCA was blocks away. After the event let out we had to call the hotel to let them know it was over. To send 1 shuttle with limited seating and a no standing rule at 1am in downtown Detroit was not the best experience. We ended up paying for an uber to get back.

Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful (front desk, bellhop, shuttle driver). The shuttle service to Comerica Park was a great perk! Rooms were spacious and clean. The only recommendation would be an upgrade to the pillows!

Came to Detroit for the first time for my birthday and to see the Claressa Shields boxing match. Stayed at the MotorCity casino hotel and the staff were great!! Also The Lodge Diner had so many tasty homecooked options. The server Kelly was a doll but it was a couple other who you could tell didn’t want to be at work. Didn’t win in the casino but overall I’m very satisfied and will visit again.
