This was my second time staying at Hotel Solar de Las Animas and compared to other hotels in the area, they are by far the best. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and it is so amazing being able to just step outside the hotel and already be in la plaza. I am planning to return to Tequila later this year and I will stay here again. If you can afford it, since it is more expensive than other hotels in the are, do it. It is definitely worth it.

Hotel Solar IS Amazing

Hotel Solar was amazing from check in to check out. Great food and drinks in the hotel and outside. Centralized to the main city, everything was in walking distance that you could want and need. The room was cleaned each day promptly, located on beautiful grounds, and has a fantastic view of the city from the Sky Bar. 10/10 recommend and if I’m ever back in Tequil, I’ll be staying here. Thank you all for everything!

It is a nice place, great service, offer to fill coolers with ice, filled it up on day we left, restaurant was reasonably priced and decent food, not great selection. Train whistles, factory whistles, Church bells, starting at 6:00 AM bother some people, not me, Very comfy beds.

Beautiful hotel owned by the Jose Cuervo company. Gorgeous “Mexican Fairmont” vibe in the hotel. Great smell in the lobby area. Only cons were the bed was too hard and they only give you 2 cups of coffee in your hotel room. Any more and you pay mini bar price.
