Just ok.
First, I want to say every staff member was kind. The room was ok. It was close to Downtown Disney. Easy to walk where you needed. Here’s the rougher part. Parking was near impossible. So many compact spots but not much for anything larger that wasn’t taken. At night you’d hear every car and person coming back at 11-12am from Disney. Not much to hide the noise including the cars and motorcycles revving down the street. The blinds don’t black out so the morning hits early. The walls are paper thin. we could hear the person in the other room coughing and opening and shutting doors. The bathroom when we checked in had brown goo all over the tile I had to wipe up and put towels down on the floor to walk in. The layers on the bed themselves were basically sheets with a thin blanket layer.
Now, I am writing this not to poo on the Alamo as it was workable. I’d rather anyone reading this know the reality of their stay as I picked this based off of multiple glowing reviews. I listed as 3 stars for that reason. It’s not a dump and if you’re coming for Disneyland, you won’t be in the room much anyways. So, I wouldn’t “not” stay there again but I would probably pick a newer next door hotel for the higher cost next time to avoid some of these issues, especially parking.
