Pros: Conveniently located to lots of transportation, dining, and shopping options Family mart on property and a supermarket too! When choosing a room the Annex is the newer of the 2 buildings. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cons: The property is aged. Would not recommend the area for families with children. Lots of girl bars and drunk men along side the property and many more in the area. Personally never felt unsafe, but not a sight for kiddos.

5 min walk to main train station. 2 min walk to Ueno park- which is sooo beautiful at night. Next to a grocery store and many convenience stores. Room was clean and spacious. Bidet toilet and tub shower. They provide amenities such as toothbrush, body wash, shampoo, etc. great location and price. Also across the street from Donki store. Great for shopping and dropping belongings

The room was very dated with furniture old and scratched. The bathroom was dingy. Despite having a jug in the room there was no tea or coffee available to use

The property was old and in need of a complete remodel. The rooms were extremely small, the bathroom was literally half a bath tub in a western style room. The sofa beds mentioned are actually some small hard futon chairs not made to sleep on. When we complained about all stated, they changed my children’s room to another building for an up charge and had them move to a third room for another up charge to their so called penthouse room which was full of mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. They were not understanding of the inconveniences and were not willing to give a refund and instead up charge on the original price. The escalator was not working and the hotel looks tedious in a busy area.

Good and convenient location. Bed was comfy. Rooms are small/cramped and no storage space for luggage like closets in the room. Difficult for toddler getting into everything. Garbage and debris left unclean under the bed.

2nd time at Centurion

This was my second time staying at the Centurion hotel. I booked this hotel because the location is close to Ameyoko and easy access to train stations. There was some confusion with the room i booked because i booked for 2 people thinking i would get to use the sofa bed for my friend. But in order to use the sofa you have to book for 3 people and pay the extra charge which doesnt make sense to me at all because im already paying for 2 people for 2 separate sleeping accommodations(beds). It took the hotel 2 days to respond to me by email and by that time i was already flying to Tokyo. When i arrived at the hotel I had to pay an extra ¥26500 which is not what i expected and it put a sour note on the beginning of my vacation. I think the Centurion hotel is a good location if you want to visit tokyo but they have to clarify their booking website especially for that room with the sofa bed.
