This is definitely not a four star property. At most 3 stars. Rooms are very small. Very easy to hear noises from adjacent rooms. Nice location, very close to subways and Ueno Park.

Staff were very helpful and happy for us to leave luggage while we explored Tokyo before and after checking in / out. Lovely clean rooms and bathroom facilities. Enjoyed the free evening sake from the spectacular 14th floor bar! Our only quibble was having our family of 5 allocated two rooms on separate floors, which made things a little more complicated - would have appreciated adjacent rooms or at least rooms on the same floor. Would stay here again though.

Very crowded and chaos lobby. Even the room is ready and it is 2pm, they won't allow customer checking in unless you pay big early checking in fee.

This hotel is a bit over rated by others. The room that we stayed is a bit dirty with mold around the vent in the room. Dust and hair in the room, even when requested to make up room, it is just exchanging towel and making beds. But even that the towel seems not changed since it is still a bit wet and folded back, and the beds are made but with a few hairs on them. I would say this is max average rated hotel.

Great stay

This hotel was in a fantastic location and had the option for a buffet breakfast which was very convenient some of our mornings. The staff was very kind and helpful. They also had an on site washing machine which was very helpful to have as not all hotels we stayed at had it. The station is so easy to get to from there, restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance very close by. Akihabara is even a short like 15 minute walk away. We had a great stay here!

Sake tasting and view of Tokyo Tower in the bar

Walking distance to Akihabara district & an hour to the airport by taxi/uber. Basic rooms with coach beds and bathroom - ours had a shower and soaking tub. What set it apart was the nightly free sake tasting on the 14th floor in the small bar area. They also offered a noodle night, with free small bowls of ramen. Simple and sweet, with view of the city and Tokyo Tower. Staff were very kind and helpful, and they stored our bags between checkout and our departure time.

MARYAN

It was nice stay, employees are nice and helpful. Just be aware that dooms and hotel in general runs towards the small size , I believe most of the places in Japan are the same in general, but to me it was a bit of a surprise. The best thing about this hotel is it is close by the metro station and close to a very nice shopping area.
