禁煙ルームでしたが、、、

ニューオータニには何度か宿泊したことがありましたが、今回のガーデンタワーの宿泊は禁煙ルームを希望したものの喫煙臭がしました。スタッフの方からはタバコの臭いではなく湿気によって匂う臭いとのこと。夜中に連絡したにも関わらず丁寧に対応いただきました。ガーデンタワーの古さから匂ってしまうものなのかと思います。好きなホテルの一つですが、今回の部屋の匂いだけは残念でした。

Excellent hotel

Breakfast was excellent. The pool was a bit of a walk from the hotel and there is no direct access from the hotel but it was nice as there are few hotels in Tokyo with pools. The service was amazing. We enjoyed the sky bar in the evenings for food and drinks and the sky bar buffet was very good. There is an elevator from the garden tower to street level where you are just a 3 minute walk to the subway.

It was a lovely hotel in a great location near the stations to several different metro lines. There was also great dining in the hotel and plenty of local dining options nearby. The garden area and pool were a great place to escape after walking around the city.

Excellent stay again at the New Otani

New Otani is one of favourite hotels in Tokyo and have 4-5 times. This time, unfortunately the first room we were given smelled of smoke, even though it was non-smoking. However, the staff were very polite and apologetic and upgraded us to a room with a better view. Also, they were very accommodating with a late check out.
