The staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming & helpful. The twin room was great and provided everything we expected. Ueno station is just a short walk away providing easy access to the whole of Tokyo

NOHGA was incredibly convenient and close to both Ueno station and the Hibiya line making access to Akihabara and Ginza (our destinations) incredibly easy. Rooms were great with amazing showers / amenities in the hotel. Highly recommend.

Perfect for Exploring Tokyo

My sister and I stayed here for three nights. It was perfectly located close to shops, restaurants and within 10 minutes of Ueno station where you could get pretty much anywhere in Tokyo. The room was comfortable and large by Japanese standards.

Good location. Nice property and good breakfast. Bad customer service. We stayed in three different Nohga hotels the past two weeks and this was the only one with bad customer service. I asked for a nespresso machine in the room for my birthday, as they have them in some rooms, they did not accept. I wanted to eat a croissant in my room after breakfast, the staff did not accept. Are we at school? We did not enjoy this hotel because of the staff.

Serene oasis in the city

Great stay in this chic boutique hotel. Really nice location on a quieter street near Ueno Station. The room was well appointed and the bed was excellent, with enough space to easily move around. The public areas were plentiful and also comfortable - our group made regular use of the second floor lobby, the outside seating area on the second floor, and also the patio on the ground floor. The architecture, decor, amenities, service, and ambience all made for a very relaxing and appealing stay. We also had dinner at the hotel bistro, and cannot say enough good things about the dishes we ordered. We would very happily return on our next visit to Tokyo.

Was expecting a bigger room but other than the room size our stay was a pleasant one. The staff was very friendly english was a part of the spoken language. Only cons that i have encountered was the additional fee/tax which really wasnt much as well as the inability to do early check in w/out an additional fee.
