A hotel in a perfect location! Seconds away from Shinjuku station, but it doesn’t feel hectic or loud when you’re in the hotel. The staff are lovely and accommodating. There were lovely little touches like free tea and skincare products. We’re hoping to come back to Tokyo again in the future and hope to stay here again!

Great location in Shinjuku. The room is pretty big for Tokyo and in good condition. They also provide tons of toiletries - even face masks, hair treatment, and sunscreen. Super complete and really thoughtful. Overall, a great choice for both convenience and comfort.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Shinjuku metro and railway stations. We used airport limousine service from the Bus terminal which was a 7 minute walk from the hotel to get back to Haneda airport. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was on a smaller side but we did not mind it as we only stayed for two nights. It was easy to check in, breakfast option was a definite plus.

The services at the check in/out or guest services were quite professional and efficient. They were dedicated to serving their guests. The amount of extras they provided in their lobby was incredible and thoughtful. (Razors, washcloths, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair creams, face creams, bath petals, etc.) It was very thoughtful to be able to turn to a tv channel to see which machines on which floors were available. There were only about 2 machines on each floor of the hotel and not every floor had a laundry room) Three major deficits were the functionality of the all in one washer/dryer unit. (It was very pricey because the dryers weren’t efficient and we continued to use coin after coin to get the clothes dry, for more than $220 per night, the rooms were TINY, even with one double bed in the room, and lastly the two restaurants inside of the hotel plaza, had very limited hours and the prices were a bit higher than they should have been. Overall, because of the pleasantness of the front desk workers, the niceness of the lobby, and the variety of the the free items in the lobby, I’d stay there again.

The Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is my family’s go- to hotel for Tokyo. We love the location and everything it has to offer inside and in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This was our second year here and we will continue to return. Join the Sotetsu Membership for additional perks! Need to add too that I absolutely love their beaded pillows!

When we first check in, the bathroom smell.. we have to have them clean up to get rid of most of the smell. Laundry is not very clean and wait for a long time to get to any machine.

What a lovely staff ! They held our bags until check-in, the room was clean and quiet, in a big and happening neighborhood with the largest transportation hub. Laundry facilities we good as well

Will stay again! Hotel is easy to get to with airport bus. Airport bus is easy to find at the airport, there is a bus counter at airport to buy tickets. Kids can sit in parents lap. Hotel is close to shinjuku express bus station for early bus rides back to airport and by subway stations. There is a family mart across th street and 7/11 around the corner. Hotel has microwave and laundry in common areas. Laundry ranges 600yen to 300yen. Coins only and front desk can exchange yen coins. Easy to walk to shibuya and harajuku, lots to do in the area around the hotel. Rooms were clean, we had two kids and two adults and got the room with an extra twin bed but didn’t need it. The beds are big enough for two. Definitely recommend.

Our stay here is very nice. The hotel is very central and only minutes from the main train station and surrounding area. It's easy(ish) to navigate Shinjuka station so getting around the city is pretty easy.
