My stay with Yuen Shinjuku was absolutely amazing. Everything was super clean and aesthetic, the amenities were incredible and the service was incredible. I especially loved the onsen, after a long day a soak does wonders and theirs was one of the highlights of my stay! The location is amazing and the street was super well-lit and felt super safe for someone like myself who travelled solo! Genuinely no notes, I had an incredible time there!

Very modern but very traditional at the same time. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Great view. Onsen overlooking Tokyos skyline was very enjoyable. Breakfast was Japanese style and very tasty. Staff helpful. Good amenities available such as washing machines, ice, filtered water etc. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Station about 10 mins walk away. We would recommend staying here.

Rooms are small but well done and spotless. The onsen is key! The restaurant tasting menu was amazing and breakfast was Japanese and good. Overall the hotel is a great spot for its value and I’d stay again. Perfect mix of modern and traditional in central Tokyo.

This is truly a traditional Japanese Onsen experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I accidentally left my passport and wallet in the Uber at 2am and they were instrumental in retrieving it for me. The Onsen is on the top floor so you have a view of the city while bathing. 10/10 experience

The staff was great. I feel that the quality of the rooms were lacking for the price. The imagery was deceptive as I was expecting an old school Ryokan and not an 18 story high rise. Great imagery, but did not deliver. I am sure several people will love this place. The reviews were exceptional, my experience did not match the reviews. .

The room was SO so small we had no room. The staff weren’t very friendly. The room was a sauna (like 26 degrees Celsius) and we had to fight with them to let us use the AC in our room. We requested a late checkout and then a man came and yelled at us at 11;30 telling us we had to leave even though we had already asked for a late checkout - he apologized but he came in HOT. Good location and clean property. Enjoyed the Onsen but it’s definitely a true 3 star hotel
