Clean. Well managed snow removal. Efficient checkin. Well appointed room. -we booked at the last minute for Dec 25 & 26 expecting service issues and there were none. Great location and excellent value for the price

Toilet paper was half used, had to hunt around for someone to check us in/out, carpet was wornout, left my shoes on...lol...heater was loud and located in bathroom, other peoples personal items were in the room, bar music thumped into the morning hours but the hotel provided earplugs in the room...comical really...should be advertised as alternative experience

Had a basement room (101) which we took because the original 103, also in the basement was dark, small and uninviting. Good spacious room and we slept well, regardless of the double knifing issue that occurred outside our room at the Madison Pub (frat drinking bar) 30 minutes after we went to our room. In the morning there were police everywhere and the whole hotel area cordoned off. We had to duck under them to exit building.

Clean room. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is our second time at this hotel and would definitely stay again. Very close to the subway. We stayed on a weeknight so was quieter.

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel residents were quiet and respectful. Room was pretty basic but that’s all we needed. We loved that this was next door to a pub where we relaxed and got to experience a local French language meetup. We also loved that everything was close and that Toronto is easily walkable. The bed was horribly uncomfortable though and that was our only complaint.
