Peaceful retreat in the heart of downtown! The service was impeccable and I felt like I was transported to Asia with the decor, ambiance and service. The rooms are spacious and well designed and the bathrooms were luxurious. We celebrated our anniversary and were treated extremely well. The lounge is a friendly relaxed place to listen to amazing live music. Fully enjoyed our stay and I feel rejuvenated!

Overall the stay was wonderful, this is not my first time with Shangri-La Toronto and every stay thus far has been enjoyable, easy, friendly and comfortable. There was an issue regarding the cleaniness of the room - there were a few odd stains and residues left on various pieces of furniture (primarily the headboard). However the staff was eager to clean this up after being notified along with a few complimentary snacks for the oversight.

The hotel location is unbeatable it is a walking distance from different shops, restaurants car rentals banks as well as Eaton Center. The room was spacious and very well equipped in every aspect. The room have both morning and evening service with daily complementary water. Our room has two queen beds and they were comfortable and big The hotel staff are amazing always providing the best service with a great smile they truly take care of their guests with every need. The concierge is outstanding always providing the best recommendations making all reservations and even helped me mailing a book with great attitude. I would like to really thank Robert, George and Aires for everything they did to make our stay memorable as well as all front desk and door staff Will definitely stay there again

The Shangri La is a beautiful hotel with great facilities. The gym is huge and very well-equipped. The service was excellent. Everyone was kind and friendly. Our room was huge and comfortable. We hope to return soon.

3-4 stars. I’m giving 4 stars because we were sent a fruit platter and sincere apologies for our bad check-in experience and we had amazing service at the Miraj Hammam spa as always. If not for that I’d give 3 stars because it just didn’t feel like 5 star service or amenities this time. The room had tv remotes that were barely working (buttons were very unresponsive) and the drape/sheer button kept not working either. In the reception, staff never greeted us as we came and went like they did last time we stayed here, wowing us with their care and a bottle of water each time we passed through. This time we felt ignored and like the staff was not happy to be there. Nobody asked us if we were celebrating anything or made any effort to ensure we had an amazing stay. This sounds nit picky but you expect these little details from a 5 star hotel. We went for dinner at the Ritz Carlton and receive the 5 star service which thankfully made our special baby moon weekend amazing! Next time we’ll try staying at the Ritz.
