Perfect downtown location
Great Hotel, love the renos! Location is perfect, I will stay there again!
Stayed here on 2 separate nights for the Metallica concerts. Place is basically across the street from Union Station, great location if you are not driving. I left my car at home. If you are driving, the hotel is on a one way and doesn't offer parking. You have to park in a parking garage next door. Tim Hortons across the street, but it closes at 11pm or midnight. Everything near here is closed at night, so I had to use Uber Eats for food past 12am. Elevator was broken on the second stay, and that was inconvenient since I was on the 9th floor. Was still faster taking the stairs than waiting for the single elevator that worked. Got my exercise in at least. Rooms are small, but nice. A small fridge can be found in the end table by the bed. No seating for more than one person. Limited TV channels but Youtube is available. Got my room on Black Friday sale and it was still around 280 per night. A but pricey, but the daytime location is great. Would stay again, although I would be reluctant to pay full price.
Loved the newly renovated small room. Just right for my needs.

Perfect location within walking distance of The Rogers Centre, Aquarium, CN tower you name it and the price was great compared to many other hotels in the area.
Overnight parking right next door. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Boutique hotel so don't expect a fridge. We were prepared and brought a cooler. Beds were super comfy. Will definelty stay again next time we are in Toronto!!!
For the area, the price was awesome. Newly renovated, rooms are small but totally fine for our one night stay. A few ‘growing pain’ issues should be addressed
1). Hot water in shower, barely adequate and did not actually match the water temp coming out of the sink. The sink water was noticeably warmer but not too hot.
2). Please, a garbage can that will hold more than a XL Timmies cup. We ended taking garbage out of our room to the lobby
3). The room fridge is enclosed in a small cupboard. The cupboard traps all the heat and really should be ventilated.
4). The room doors are too noisy when closing from outside the room. Something should be done
Despite the listed issues, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Great walkable location and an affordable price.

It was nice! Lobby was cute, rooms are tight but clean. I unfortunately got assigned a room right next to the elevator, and it was extremely loud (other guests, ice machine, etc). Not really a complaint, but being that close to the noise was rough

Disliked: Cleanliness
Pros: very nice boutique hotel, great service, excellent location, comfortable bed and linen. Love having a mini-fridge and proper hot water kettle for my tea every morning.
Cons: So much dirt and dustballs under the bed (I don't think the cleaning crew have ever cleaned under there), there is no full length mirror anywhere, and the heater/AC is outrageously loud and blows far too strongly. :(
Everything was great except they didn’t have the room with two double beds that I booked months in advance so I had to share a bed with my manager… #onebedtropegonewrong. That being said, they comped our breakfast and the food was amazing! Would stay again, just hopefully without the surprise team bonding experience.
Great location! Good value! Only 10 minute walk to Roger’s Centre, CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, Eaton Centre Mall. Lots of historical buildings surrounding The Union Hotel, and it appears this hotel is in an historic building as well given the charming retrofit pipes and electrical.
Nothing stand out. The hotel’s entrance isn’t well indicated, on a dark and dirty street. Bad experience at the checkin and with the elevators. But the staff in general are very kind.
