Just the one night stay and no complaints but for one item hence completing this. No water in kettle in morning or a modest sized bottle of water in fridge to make 2 morning hot drinks on getting up.

Everything about the hotel, food and spa was fantastic. the only negative was we were originally booked in the Paddocks. what a huge disappointment this building is to the rest of the grounds. sadly this lets the whole place down. Thankfully we were moved to the main hotel as the halls and bathroom had a bad smell so i called up to complain as the whole experience in this building was outdated, dirty, smelly and in need of a full revamp. the rest of the stay was fantastic.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found the overall experience to be good, particularly in terms of value for money. The pricing was reasonable, and the stay provided the essentials needed for a short visit. One of the highlights was the excellent food, which was well-prepared and enjoyable. Additionally, the staff were outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made a significant positive impact on my stay. However, I did encounter a few issues that affected my experience. The bed was quite uncomfortable, leading to a restless night and leaving me feeling drained during an important meeting the following day. The bathroom also appeared somewhat tired, with noticeable mould around the shower area, which could benefit from maintenance. While the affordability and service were excellent, improvements in comfort and upkeep would further enhance the overall guest experience.

Everything bar the room was great. Unfortunately our room smelt mouldy, there was no aircon but opening the window to the courtyard let in the smells from the kitchen, also some very noisy birds that woke us up at 5am. Bed was comfortable and breakfast fantastic. Would have been cooler and less stuffy on the lower floors, for the high price I felt underwhelmed, I’ve stayed before and the room was great, so try and get a room on the ground or 1st floor, especially in the summer.

The Hotel its self and grounds are very nice, the room was adequate if a little dated however that is the style of this hotel the pool and amenities are great, but the food was expensive for what you got. Overall a good hotel and very clean.
