The hotel is in a great location--we were easily able to access both Tubac and the Saguaro National Park. Breakfast at the 19th Hole was great. The live music at the bar was a special treat. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room had a "pool side access", however the sliding glass door that went out to the pool wouldn't open, the top would pull open, but the bottom wouldn't. The toilet was extremely low. There was a mechanical noise happening that sounded like a sledge hammer type banging. It lasted for about 30 seconds every 5-20 minutes and woke us up many times during the night.

Appreciated convienience of restaurant attached to hotel. Did not appreciate the argumentative attitude of the front desk when asking for maid service. Was told it was not available after 12noon. We were on vacation!! I don't vacation to get up early! Service should be available 24/7!

We were shocked to find that our room type (two queen) was not available when we checked in at 3 pm. Age upper seventies we require 2 beds. As much as we pleaded, no help. "Sorry a big group came..." The deficiencies of the place (lumpy bed, peeling caulk in BR, office chair falling apart) would have been tolerable if we could simply have slept well at night. Probably won't use this facility again!

The hotel is adequate but is dated and in need of an upgrade. If I went back to the area I would probably stay there again, but I would also check for new properties close by. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant on the property was good.

This is my 3rd visit to Best Western GV in 3 years. Something was off this time. Not sure if the property has new owners? Room wasn’t cleaned all 5 days. Asked a maid if she could at least change towels. She directed me to get new towels at the front desk. If you wanted your garbage can emptied you had to put it in the hall. And take it back into your room later. The bathroom floor had dirt and particles and the bedsheets while clean were very messily put on the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable and needs replaced because of sink holes throughout. The breakfast is always great, but the staff seemed very unorganized in getting you seated. Not sure what happened here? Our past stays have usually been pleasant. The property is older. The rooms need some attention. The grounds outside are nice and the location and parking are good.

Filthy pet rooms. Carpet needs shampooing desperately cuz our dog went crazy sniffing pee and poo spots all the time and she never does that. Visible pet soil spots. Ratty beds with open bottoms. Forget having a cat there. Restaurant bar redneck noisy yelling and was ignored for a long time. Thick dirty bathtub ring uncleaned. Bathtub did not drain either. Worst experience. Ancient Tv changer. No subtitles.
