Needs Maintained-Nothing Working In Room

I really wanted to love this hotel. It was clean (minus the pool needing a good scrub), the food was good for a hotel breakfast buffet, the cookies for afternoon snack were DELICIOUS, the staff was friendly (minus Dayton). HOWEVER, the entire wall of rooms we were in did not have heat/AC and the TVs did not work. We also had a ceiling water leak in the bathroom. When trying to work with hotels.com and the hotel for a partial refund, Dayton was untrained and too lazy to ask questions or even attempt to help. It took me a hour going back and forth from the front desk due to Dayton’s laziness to get the issue resolved. Summer was amazing and for all the complaints she received due to so many rooms not functioning, she deserves a raise! The condition and lack of maintenance and untrained Dayton speaks volumes to the lack of job management is doing to make sure staff is trained and facilities are in working order. We brought our issues up to staff and management within two hours of check in and 2-3 times daily, but they were never resolved. Upon check out day and hearing lots of others complaints is when I realized the entire wall of rooms was not functioning.

Other than the tub not properly draining service was excellent the bed was so comfy room so clean the breakfast was delicious and hot. Most definitely will book again. Front desk and any employee i came across was very welcoming ❤️

Key pad didn’t work and I was locked out of room for 2 hrs. Room AC didn’t work well or be able to adjust Bar Tender was rude and inflexible. Did not know how to make a drink or know the menu. Awful stay and won’t be back

Great spot!!

Great stay! Front desk receptionist was very friendly. Rooms very spacious and clean. Hotel is close to a lot of places to eat and the interstate. Will definitely stay again.

This place was wonderful. So beautiful when you walk in, pool, resturant, and bar. Drinks were priced low and wish i had time to spend more time here. Beds and rooms were large. Breakfast buffet was awesome. They had an omelete station that surprised me and the guy making them was so nice and the staff there and at the front desk. Will come again for sure!

Our heater would not work and we called down for assistance. They said they would let maintenance know, but no one ever came. It was about 20 degrees outside that night. The free breakfast was average, but there were plenty of options including an omelet station where you can get a fresh omelet made to order. The front desk staff was less than concerned on check out that we did not have heat. Asked if I wanted a receipt and I said "No, I want a refund." They were unable to assist me because I made the reservations through Expedia. I am told since that time to expect a refund. I would give it a second chance if that was my only choice. The room was huge and clean. Except we didn't have enough toilet paper to even last 1 night. They told me at the front desk I should have came down and asked for some. I think if you have less than 1 roll there should be a spare already in place.

Beautiful hotel, horrible stay.

The sprinkler head in our room was so loose for so long it had been stuffed with toilet paper by other guests to stop it from rattlling all night. The guide on the TV showed no information and the website was so archaic you couldn't even read it. Even though it says it offered room service we were told they didn't. Our room was cleaned only once even though we were there for multiple days. That rule is absolutely ridiculous since we use more and need it more. The staff was rude to a lot of different people as witnessed on multiple occasions. From almost chasing someone down for a beer in the pool area, to telling others they couldn't check in early and then getting rude with them when they were frustrated. We won't be staying there again.

Nice but not worth price

Let’s see. Went to check in and the price was different than what was online. When checking in a lady was complaining about her bathroom being clogged up and waiting. When getting up to our room it was nice. When I went to wash my face the sink took forever to drain. Went to have dinner in the hotel restaurant and first it took forever to be seated. When getting our food they left our other dish in the kitchen and then brought out 4 individual pieces of asparagus….. walking throughout the hotel they had water leaking under a door. For the price it shouldn’t have been that way. Our room we didn’t have a remote for the tv and when we did get a remote we couldn’t even get a tv channel line up. So it’s a no go on returning unless the remodel is fixing every thing including the plumbing and service

We had blood stains on our shower curtain upon checking in. We called the front desk to request this be changed because, disgusting! They did not ever come. We called the next morning and asked again, and again they promised to have someone remedy the problem right away. Our shower curtain remained bloody and stained the whole 2 night stay.

Really disappointed with our recent stay while attending chili bowl nationals. The first morning waking up, there was very loud construction noise promptly at 8:00am. Not fun after staying out late on your first night of vacation. Also, was NEVER told that there would be remodeling/construction during our stay. The rooms seemed clean enough but saw some black hairs in the shower and under the vanity. After staying there for a couple of days noticed the remodeling of our room in particular was very cheap. White plaster/spackle smeared all over the paint, drywall debris in the cracks etc. The exterior lights by the doors just had wire hanging from them. CAME HOME WITH BED BUG SCABS/BITES ALL OVER MY BODY. Really was more like a stay at a motel 6 but with a higher price tag.
