We really liked the location and proximity to everything. Rooms were clean and a very accessible hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. .

I checked in and got to the room and it had dirty sheets on the bed. I went down and let the desk know I then went to dinner and upon returning I was told I had to make my own bed

The bad stuff: This hotel is a bit older and it shows. Cleanliness was not at a 4 or 5 star level. Our hotel room door would not latch/lock, so we had to request to move to a different room. The next room had a strong smell of marijuana. Other occupants were very noisy in the hallways: shouting and slamming their doors. The good stuff: This location was convenient to the University of Alabama campus. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast and snack options were varied and appreciated. This hotel is dog friendly so travelers can bring their pets.
